The Child Dental Benefit Schedule pays for Preventative and Restorative Dental Treatment up to $1000 over a two consecutive year period for eligible children from 2 to 17 years of age. Services included under the Scheme are- Examinations, X-Rays, Cleaning, Fissure Seals, Fillings, Root Canals and extractions. *Benefits are not available for orthodontic Treatment. Is my Child Eligible? If you are eligible for medicare or you or your child receive payment for eg- Family Tax Benefit A, Parenting Payment, Abstudy, Carer Payment, Special Benfit, Youth Allowance you may be eligible. To confirm your child is eligible or to confirm your balance you can do so online through your MyGov Account, or by phoning Medicare on 132 011. We have the facilities on site to claim on the day, just remember to bring your medicare card along with you.
